How to use the loan history grid?

This article discusses the available functions in the Loan History Grid.

To navigate to the Loan History grid: 

  • Click on running Loan Servicing in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®.
  • Click the Loans drop-down.
  • Click All Loans from the menu located on the left of the window.
  • From the All Loans grid, select the loan record you want to modify.

TIP: If the record you want to edit is not visible, use the grid's vertical scroll bar to scroll the contents of the grid up or down, or click FindSearch icon box Find to search for the record by entering your own search criteria.   • Click edit from the options available on the top panel or double-click on the item to open the loan file.
    • You can also click the history History icon in the top panel to open the loan history without the loan file. 
  • In the loan file, click history History from the vertical menu on the left.
  • Below is a list of available functions in the Loan History Grid:

Click to Edit a record.

Click to Delete a record.

CAUTION: When you delete a record, the information is permanently removed from the database. Once a record is deleted it cannot be recovered.

Click to display a list of available Actions. Most selections apply to the currently selected record. The available choices are:

  • REVERSE rewind transaction, no button border Reverse a Transaction

  • bill NSF Payment

  • notes Add Notes to Selected Transaction

PRINT with button border outline Click print Payment Distribution Audit Report to Preview and optionally print the contents of the grid.
EXCEL with button border outline Click to export the contents of the grid to Microsoft Excel.

Customize Grid. Opens a dialog window where you can change the display order of the grid columns and whether they are displayed or not.

refresh

Click Refresh to updates the contents of the grid.

Yeart to Date drop-down

 

Use the dropdown list to filter the records shown according to date ranges. The choices are:

  • All Dates

  • Year to Date

  • Quarter to Date

  • Month to Date

  • Last Year

  • Last Month

NOTE: The grid's contents can be sorted in various ways by clicking any of the grid's column headers. If you click the same column header more than once, the sort will alternate between ascending and descending order.
