The first step in enabling The Mortgage Office® to process electronic payments for certificate holders is to enter the pertinent ACH information for each participating holder. This section assumes that you have already set up one or more bank accounts with the necessary ACH information. To learn how to set up one or more bank accounts for electronic payment processing, read the [ACH Express](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/knowledge/setting-up-your-bank-account?hsLang=en) section. ### To enter ACH Holder information: - Go to ![copy](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/hs-fs/hubfs/TMO%20APP%20Icons/copy.png?t=1682448445413&width=860) **Mortgage Pool Servicing** in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®. - Scroll down to the **CMO** drop-down and click on **All Certificate Holders**. This will bring up the Certificate Holders screen which contains a grid of all certificate holders. - From the grid, select the holder you want to modify. TIP: If the record you want to edit is not visible, go to the bottom-right-hand side of the screen and use the page-scroll bar to find the record, or click the **Find** box ![FindSearch icon box](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/hs-fs/hubfs/TMO%20APP%20Icons/FindSearch%20icon%20box.png?width=231&height=27&name=FindSearch%20icon%20box.png) at the top-right-hand side of the screen to search for the record by entering your own search criteria. For additional information see [How to Use Find](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/knowledge/how-to-use-find?hsLang=en) and [How to Use the Data Grids.](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/knowledge/how-to-use-the-data-grids?hsLang=en) - **Double-click** on the certificate holder or choose the **Edit** icon ![edit](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/hs-fs/hubfs/TMO%20APP%20Icons/edit.png?t=1682448448262&width=860) from the menu choices near the top left of the Certificate Holders screen, which will bring up the Holder screen. - Click the **ACH** tab located near the top of the Holder screen. - Enter the following information: TIP: When a new routing number is entered, it is matched against a database of U.S. Bank Routing Numbers containing thousands of records, and if a match is found, the bank's name and address are automatically updated. | **Field:** | **Description:** | | --- | --- | | **Bank Name** | Enter the bank's name. (Maximum of 50 characters) | | **Bank Address** | Enter the bank's address. (Maximum of 255 characters) | | **Routing Number** | Enter the number of the bank or financial institution where the holder’s payment is to be deposited. This is oftentimes referred to as the routing number. (Maximum of 9 characters) Refer to the image below to locate the holder's bank routing number from one of his checks. ![](https://app.themortgageoffice.com/help/lib/Imagesach_check_info8.gif) | | **Account Number** | Enter the number of the bank account where the holder's payment is to be deposited. (Maximum of 17 characters) Refer to the image above to locate the holder's bank account number from one of his checks. | | **Individual Id** | Enter the holder's account number. Maximum of 50 characters. | | **Individual Name** | Enter the holder's name. Maximum of 50 characters. | | **Account Type** | Select **Checking** or **Savings** or **GL Deposit (Credit)** from the drop- down menu. | | **Service Status** | Indicates the status of the holder's ACH account.
