When setting up a new construction loan, you may use the Import Budget feature to quickly setup a budget by copying the budget information from another loan with a similar budget. You may then add, delete or modify the budget to fit the new loan's requirements.
To import a budget from another loan:
- Click on
Loan Servicing in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®. - Click the Loans drop-down.
- Click Construction below All Loans from the menu located on the left of the window.
- From the grid, select the loan you want to modify.
TIP: If the record you want to edit is not visible, use the grid's vertical scroll bar to scroll the contents of the grid up or down, or click 
Find to search for the record by entering your own search criteria. For additional information see How to use find and How to use the data grids.
- Click
from the options available on the top panel or double-click on the item. - Click
Terms from the list located on the left of the window, and select Construction Tab. - Click the Project tab, then select Budget & Cost Breakdown from Tasks section.
- Click
on top right panel of Construction Budget / Cost Breakdown window to start Import Budget assistance window. - Click
to open a lookup window that allows you to select a record from a list of existing records. For more details see How to use lookup windows.
TIP: You may import a budget to a loan already containing budget information, in which case the import process will add to, or replace existing budget information.

Replace Duplicate Accounts- Click
OK to start importing the budget or Cancel to abort.
