How to add the Microsoft Word add-in for letter and notice customization?
This part of the documentation discusses how to add the Microsoft Word add-in to use for letter and notice customization in The Mortgage Office®.
To download the add-in:
- In your computer's search bar, type "Internet Options". Click on Internet Options to open the options.
- In the Internet Options, click on the Security tab.
- In the Security tab, click on Trusted sites.
- Click the Sites button.
- In the "Add this website to the zone:" box, paste the following URL: https://app.themortgageoffice.com for US/Canadian clients & https://aus.themortgageoffice.com for Australian clients.
- Click Add, then Close.
- Open Microsoft Edge and type the URL: https://app.themortgageoffice.com.
- On the login page, login to The Mortgage Office® using your credentials.
TIP: You must open and login to The Mortgage Office® using Microsoft Edge.
- Once you are logged into The Mortgage Office®, click on your profile icon (the white letter in the dark blue circle) in the top right corner of the page and click on Download Word Add-In.
- That file will download into your “Downloads” folder on your computer.
- Open the Downloads folder then double click to open and run the downloaded file- it should be named: TmoWEBMSO.vsto
- Once the add-in is downloaded and installed, relaunch Word to see the add-in added as a tab in the Word Ribbon.
