How to add or edit a note in a lender file?

This article discusses how to add or edit a note in a lender file.

To add or edit a note: 

  • Click on running Loan Servicing in the left-hand navigation panel of The Mortgage Office®.
  • Click on All Lenders.
  • From the grid, select the record you want to modify.

TIP: If the record you want to edit is not visible, go to the bottom-right-hand side of the All Lenders screen and use the page-scroll bar to find the record, or click the Find box FindSearch icon box at the top-right-hand side of the screen to search for the record by entering your own search criteria.   • Double-click on the lender or choose the Edit icon edit from the menu choices near the top left of the All Lenders screen.
    • You can also click the notes Notes icon in the top panel to open a new lender note without the lender file. 
  • Click notes Notes in the navigation panel on the left side of the lender file. 
  • Add, Edit, Delete, or Format text or insert different media options using the options at the top of the window.
  • Click APPLY to save or ban-solid to abort changes.
