What are the options for an ARM notice?

Use the options below to edit the ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) notices.

NOTE: Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM) are loans where the interest rate changes periodically, usually in relation to an index, and payments may go up or down accordingly.

To edit the ARM notice options:

  • Click white cog blue background Options located on the right top of the window.
  • Select Notices from the drop-down list located below Loan Servicing on left side of the panel.
  • Click the ARM tab.
  • There are 3 different notice types available for customizing:
    • Standard notice. The standard notice is used primarily for non-RESPA loans.
    • RESPA Initial notice. This notice is required only for the first time the interest rate adjusts. It must be provided to the consumer between 210 days and 240 days before the first payment at the new rate is due.
    • RESPA Regular notice. This is the ongoing interest rate adjustment notice and it must be provided to the consumer between 60 and 120 days before the first payment at the new rate is due.
  • Click download-solid small-png Download to download each notice for customization in Microsoft Word, using the Word add-in. To learn more about editing notices, refer to How to edit notices.
