[Basic Information](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/knowledge/getting-started?hsLang=en#basic-information) October 1, 2026 # Coming Soon: Navigating TMO's New User Interface ## Here we'll review how to navigated TMO's updated user interface so you can take advantage of improved functionality. ### **Overview** Our user interface has been updated to allow for cleaner navigation, while also providing faster performance. The structure of the system remains the same: Loans, Lenders, Vendors, Tasks and Reports, etc.  For an interactive walkthrough of the updated interface, please click **[here](https://tour.themortgageoffice.com/s/0v7cm8)**.  ### **What stays the same?** The vast majority of the navigation you're familiar with remains intact. The primary navigation menu is on the left side of the screen, profile and database options remain the the top right, and the loans, lender, vendor, tasks and reports pages, are laregly unchanged. ### **What is new?** There are some notable features that allow for a better user experience. We review each of these below. #### **Cleaner Menus![Screenshot 2026-10-01 at 8.54.22 AM](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-10-01%20at%208.54.22%20AM.png?width=383&height=226&name=Screenshot%202026-10-01%20at%208.54.22%20AM.png)** The left-side navigation panel is cleaned up to have dedicated Origination and Servicing sides. Clicking the toggle at the top switches between each of those. When opening loans, they are still broken down by Conventional, Line of Credit, Commercial, Construction, and Other. Clicking the ![Screenshot 2026-10-01 at 8.55.18 AM](https://help.themortgageoffice.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-10-01%20at%208.55.18%20AM.png?width=33&height=32&name=Screenshot%202026-10-01%20at%208.55.18%20AM.png) button next to Loans opens up these options. #### **Adding Starred Favorites** You can now star pages to add them to your favorited **Starred** itemsat the top of the navigation menu. This begins the favoriting process by temporarily revealing stars next to pages in the navigation menu. Simply star the pages you would like to add to your **Starred** section, and then click **Save** at the bottom of the menu.
