Lightning Docs Integration Guide
This article discusses how to enable the Lightning Docs integration.
Prerequisites
Before enabling the Lightning Docs integration, ensure the following steps are completed:
- Feature Flag Activation: The feature flag must be enabled. Contact your Account Manager to enable it.

- Lightning Docs Registration: The customer must be signed up for Lightning Docs with Geraci.
- TMO Access to Lightning Docs Catalog: Geraci must grant The Mortgage Office (TMO) access to your Lightning Docs catalog.
- Customers can request that Geraci give TMO permission to access their Catalog via API

- Alternatively, you can contact your Account Manager (AM) team, who will coordinate with Geraci to request access.
Enabling the Integration
Once all prerequisites are met, follow these steps to enable the Lightning Docs integration:
- Click on
Options (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- Select Integrations from the menu.
- Click on Lightning Docs.
- Toggle the switch to
Enable the integration.
- Enter the Lightning Docs Catalog Name.
- (Optional) Enable document flow-back into TMO by selecting the checkbox. If unchecked, documents will not be automatically stored in TMO.
Using the Integration
Generating Documents in Loan Origination
- Navigate to Loan Origination and open a loan.
- Go to the Borrower Overview page.
- Click More Actions.
- Select Order Lightning Docs.
- The Lightning Docs platform will open in a new tab.
- Users must sign in using their Lightning Docs credentials.
- TMO will create a new interview and pre-fill any available loan data.
- Complete the document interview within Lightning Docs.
- Once the interview is finalized, TMO will automatically pull the generated documents and store them in the Attachments tab.
