How to use the Loan Servicing Overview Page

The Overview page gives you a quick snapshot of your loan’s most commonly used servicing information. Review payment history, ACH details, attachments, and more in one view.

Enabling Access to the Overview Page

In order for TMO users to see the Overview page, they'll need to have access enabled in the User Management settings. The specific permission is in Loan Servicing > Loan Files > Loan Overview.

When you open a loan, you’ll land on the Overview page. It provides a consolidated view of the loan details and actions TMO users leverage most often.

Customizing Overview Page Layout

Overview pages can be customized to prioritize the data that is most useful. Once adjusted, these preferences are saved per user, so can customize exactly what is most important to you.

To get started, you'll see the three dots icon in the top right corner of your overview page. overview three dots Clicking this will open up a new menu, with some key loan actions, including the ability to Customize Dashboard.

Not only will this allow you to toggle on or off certain sections, but you'll also have the option of rearranging the priority of these, keeping the data that means most to you at the top.

Additional Functionality

The Overview page gives you another way to navigate loans and brings key servicing actions directly onto the main page.

  1. The Regular Payment button in the top right will allow you to apply a regular payment from here as well as the previously available locations of Loan History, All Loans grid, Tasks and Reports, and SmartViews.
  2. When accessing the Print button Overview Print in the top right corner, you'll now be able to generate the following:
    1. Amortization Schedule
    2. Trust Ledger Register
    3. Demand for Payoff
    4. Reinstatement Calculation
  3. The envelope icon allows Borrower and Lender emails to be sent here as well.
  4. Not only does the 3 dot action button overview three dotsallow you to customize the dashboard, but you can also:
    1. Generate Borrower and Lender Statements of Account
    2. Add Funding and Charges
    3. Apply Principal Paydowns, Adjustments, and Other Cash from Borrower payments
  5. The links on each card will redirect to its dedicated page from within the loan file. For example, clicking the View All link on loan terms will redirect to the Loan Terms page within the loan for more information
