Troubleshooting
If you receive the following error message when performing any action in The Mortgage Office®:
"The user 'name@themortgageoffice.com' is currently printing lender checks. Please make necessary changes and try again."
This message indicates that another user currently has an active check printing session open for lender disbursements. While that session remains open, other users are temporarily prevented from performing related actions—such as posting, editing, or starting another check printing process—to avoid conflicts or duplicate transactions.
To resolve this issue:
-
Check if the user listed in the error message (for example, name@themortgageoffice.com) is actively printing lender checks.
-
If the user is currently printing, wait until the process is complete, then try again.
-
If the session was left open unintentionally, the user is not actually printing checks, or the user is no longer with your organization:
-
Click the ⚙️ Gear icon (Settings).
-
Go to Options > General.
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
-
Click the Clear Database Resources button to release the lock on the process.
-
This will end the inactive or stuck printing session and allow you to resume normal operations.
