How to run a trust account data integrity check and repair the data?
This article discusses how to run a Trust Account Data Integrity Check and repair the data.
TIP: You only need to run this program if you suspect database corruption due to system failure, damaged hard disk, or direct manual intervention in the database.
NOTE: Depending on the size of your trust accounting database, this process may take a while. It is recommended that you run this process when no one else is using the Trust Accounts module. The following 3 discrepancies are sequentially scrubbed for:
- Transaction vs. splits discrepancy
- Orphan split records
- Transactions without detail
To run the Data Integrity Check & repair:
- Click the
Trust Accounts drop-down in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®.
- Click Tasks & Reports from the menu located on the left of the window.
- Click Data Integrity Check & Repair under the Maintenance section.
- Click
Analyze to continue with the integrity check.

- If errors are found during the Analyze step, a report outlining the errors found will be produced and you will be given the option to repair the damage data. To continue and repair the damaged data, click
OK.

CAUTION: The repair will modify and delete transactions and splits as needed; therefore, it is strongly recommended that a full database backup is made before proceeding with the repair.
