How to print tax forms?
This part of the documentation discusses how to print tax forms.
NOTE: 1098 Mortgage Interest: Due dates. Furnish Copy B of this form to the recipient by January 31. File Copy A of this form with the IRS by February 28. If you file electronically, the due date is March 31. To file electronically, you must have software that generates a file according to the specifications in Pub. 1220, Specifications for Filing Forms 1098, 1099, 5498, and W-2G Electronically or Magnetically. IRS does not provide a fill-in form option.
To print tax forms:
- Click on
Loan Servicing in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®.
- Scroll to the bottom of the navigation panel and select one of the following:
- 1098 Mortgage Interest
- 1099-INT Interest Income
- 1099-MISC Miscellaneous Income
- 1099-NEC Nonemployee Compensation
- Select the relevant tax year from the drop-down in the top right of the window.
- Highlight by clicking on a batch from the list of records in the grid.
- Click
Open Payers from the options in the menu at the top of the page.
- Click the
Print icon.
- Select
Print Tax Forms from the drop-down.
- The Print dialog window provides the following options:
Print All Tax Forms.
- Select this option to print all tax forms.
Print Tax Forms for Flagged Records Only.
- Select this option to print tax forms for only the
flagged records.
- Select this option to print tax forms for only the
Print Tax Forms for Highlighted Record Only.
- Select this option to print a single tax form for the selected record.
NOTES:
- Tax forms must be printed and mailed before January 31. Copy A may not need to be printed if you're required to file electronically with the Internal Revenue Service. The forms can be printed for all or selected records.
- Before printing the forms, it is strongly recommended that you use the
Alignment button to make sure the printing is properly aligned with your forms.
- Use the drop-down to select which copy you wish to print.
NOTE: Copies A, B, and C have formatting differences.
- Click
Print to preview, print, or email the document.
CAUTION: In order to print the tax forms correctly, you do need the correct format of paper to print on.

- Click
Close or
Cancel to close the Print Preview window when finished.
- Click
Exit or
Cancel in the upper right-hand corner of the Print Tax Forms dialog to exit.
