How to edit a transaction?

This article discusses how to make changes or add information to an existing transaction.

To edit a transaction:

  • Click the users Trust Accounts drop-down in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®.
  • From the list of Trust Accounts that are listed, select the trust account drop-down to edit the transaction in. 
  • From that drop-down, click All. 
    • You can also click any one of the client names under All to edit a transaction directly from a client's ledger. 
  • Highlight the transaction to edit and click Edit Edit from the options available on top panel or double-click on the record to open it.
TIP: If the transaction you want to edit is not visible, use the grid's vertical scroll bar to scroll the contents of the grid up or down, or Use search criteria for the transaction by entering your own search criteria. For additional information see How to Use Find and How to Use the Data Grids.
  • Click OK OK to save or CANCEL Cancel to abort.
