How to delete a custom field?
This article discusses how to delete a custom field.
CAUTION: Please note that any fields you delete are also deleted from all records of that type. For example: if you delete a field called "Agreement Date" from the file, that field will be deleted from all files of the same type.
To delete a custom field:
- In any file in The Mortgage Office®, choose
Custom Fields from the menu on the left.
- In the Custom Fields page, in the All tab, click on the field you wish to delete.
- Click
Delete from the menu at the top right of the page.
- Choose
Yes to delete the selected user defined field.
- In the Confirm Delete dialog window, type the word DELETE.
- Click
OK to delete the field or
Cancel to abort.
