How to change the status of a transaction?

This article discusses how to change the status of a transaction in a Trust Account register.

This part of the documentation discusses how to manually mark a transaction as cleared, reconciled, or unreconciled.

To change the status: 

  • Click the users Trust Accounts drop-down in the left panel of The Mortgage Office®.
  • From the list of Trust Accounts that are listed, select the trust account drop-down to change the transaction status in. 
  • From that drop-down, click All. 
    • You can also click any one of the client names under All to change the transaction status directly from a client's ledger. 
  • With the grid open, select the record you want to change the status of. 

TIP: If the record you want to void is not visible, use the grid's vertical scroll bar to scroll the contents of the grid up, or down or use pagination from the bottom of grid, or search for the transaction by entering your own search criteria in quick search.   • Click the action Actions button to display a list of available actions and select the book-solid Clear Status drop-down. 
  • Select Mark Cleared, Mark Reconciled, or Mark Unreconciled from the menu based on the action required
