How to Disable Insurance Tracking on a Loan
To manually disable insurance tracking on a loan, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the main Borrower page of the loan.
- Uncheck
the Enable Insurance Tracking box.

Insurance tracking will also be automatically disabled if:
- The loan’s principal balance is reduced to $0.
- The loan’s category is changed from "Active."
How to Disable Insurance Tracking for a Specific Property?
Yes, you can disable insurance tracking for a specific property or policy:
- To stop tracking a specific insurance policy, either:
- Delete the insurance policy from the loan file, or
- Uncheck the Active box next to the policy in the list.
- To disable insurance tracking at the property level, assign the property a type that is not eligible for tracking, such as Other, or create a custom property type.
