How to access Insurance Documents and Letters in the Insurance Tracking Solution
This article discusses how to access easy access to insurance-related documents and letters sent to borrowers within the loan servicing system.
How to view a Insurance Documents and Letters:
1. Navigate to the Property Details Screen
- From your loan servicing platform, search for the loan or borrower, then double-click corresponding property.
2. Go to the Insurance Tab
- Once you're on the Property Details screen, click the Insurance tab to view all insurance-related information for the property.
3. Click the "Insurance Documents" Button
- On the Insurance tab, find and click the Insurance Documents button to open a list of all related documents and correspondence.
4. View Collected Documents and Sent Letters
- In the Insurance Documents section, you will find:
- Insurance Policy Documents: All insurance policy-related documents, such as certificates, policy declarations, and cancellation notices.
- Borrower Communication Letters: A history of letters sent to the borrower, including:
- Requests for updated insurance information.
- Notifications regarding insurance lapses.
- Letters about force-placed insurance and coverage details.
